Renaissance O'Hare
The Marriott Renaissance Chicago O’Hare Suites Hotel is its full name, but what a mouthful that is, so let's just call it the Renaissance O'Hare. The Renaissance O'Hare is a AAA 3-Diamond hotel, and it's brand-spanking new. The Renaissance O'Hare opened in just 2005. It's a 15-story highrise, located right on the highway between Chicago O'Hare Airport and downtown Chicago, 18 miles away . An El train station is right next door, and taking the train on some days just might be faster than taking a car downtown. If you do have a car with you, keep in mind that parking doesn't come free. The Renaissance O'Hare charges a jaw-dropping $20 for overnight parking.
O'Hare is just a stone's throw away and this is an airport hotel, so regular airport shuttles are provided. Wireless Internet is available, a swimming pool, sauna, and hey, there's even a Starbucks. Bring your kids (cribs are available), but leave that dog at home, and don't even think about lighting up a cigarette. No pets and no smoking!

Reviews and Ratings:
The Renaissance O'Hare gets rave reviews. Remember this is a new building, so guests love the facilities. Everyone says the shower is awesome, the beds are incredible, and all the physical facilities are as good as you can get at this price. But it's not just the facilities that get high marks, staff is also said to be attentive, friendly and accomodating. Guests also appreciate the convenience of shuttles that go to and from O'Hare airport every 15 minutes. But watch out for those charges, some say. Turn on the TV, watch a movie, and it just might cost you $15. And Internet? Be ready to fork out $10 each day.
