LAX Parking

LAX parking options abound. You can either park at LAX Airport (best for short term parking) or you can park at one of the off-airport LAX parking lots owned by private companies. Los Angeles International Airport itself has space for almost 8,000 cars spread across eight parking structures. LAX airport also has two remote parking lots (Parking Lot B and Parking Lot C), which are suitable for long-term LAX parking and accessible to LAX Airport by shuttle bus. All official LAX parking lots are handicap accessible, and the LAX shuttle buses have wheelchair lifts.

LAX Parking structures all have height restrictions: For parking structures 1, 2A, 3, 4, 6 and 7, the maximum vehicle height is 8'2". For parking structures 2B and 5, the maximum height is 7'.

If you are picking up a traveler at LAX Airport and do not want to pay for parking, you can wait in the LAX Cell Phone Parking Lot, which is open 24 hours a day. Wait here until your passenger calls, and then you can pick them up at the terminal curbside. Only 79 spaces are available in the cell phone parking lot.

For those who will be gone several days or more and need long-term parking at LAX, popular private LAX parking lots include: Wally Park, Park One, LAX Park Place, AirPark LAX and LAX Airport Parking Center. Cheap LAX parking and discount LAX parking are available, but even the more expensive parking lots usually offer coupons and special discounts.
